Thank Your Vet

Few people will show as much love towards your pet as you do, your vet is one of them. Thank them for their work.

   I love my vet. My cats don’t like her but she is a good one. After we made the heart breaking choice to put our eldest cat to sleep (he had advanced cancer and there wasn’t really anything that we could have done) they sent us a symapathy card signed by the staff. I cried when I read it but it made me feel better because they knew how hard it was to lose a pet and for us to let George go. It’s nice knowing to go to a vet who cares about both the animals and the people.

   I know what you mean, ES. When one of my dogs had to be put to sleep a few years ago, the vet we’ve been going to since I was a small child with my first dog took time to write a really nice card. And he was dying of cancer himself at the time. (And in fact died later that same year.) The fact he could take time to have sympathy for someone else when he was so ill still makes me cry.
